James Rodríguez had a difficult 2015-16 campaign with Real Madrid. He was not relied upon by either former manager Rafa Benitez (now with Newcastle) or current Real boss Zidane.
Despite starting only 17 league games, and playing in another 9 games as a substitute, James had solid numbers scoring 7 goals and contributing 8 assists.
Colombia will be relying on him and Juve's (Chelsea owned) Juan Cuadrado.
