Fiorentina-Juventus: two losses (Napoli, Genoa) for La Viola so far, two wins (Parma, Napoli) for the Bianconeri, although the match will likely be harsher than the premises indicate. The Old Lady prevailed in two of the last three tips to Florence and could do it again: road win.
Napoli-Sampdoria: the Partenopei bested Fiorentina in a thriller and then were burned late in Turin against Juventus, while the Blucerchiati were thumped by both Lazio and Sassuolo and will likely need more time, or a more favorable match-up, to get on track: home win.
Inter-Udinese: the Nerazzurri manhandled Lecce and then got the better of Cagliari in Sardinia, while the Zebrette caught Milan off guard and then got beat by Parma. Not a walk in the park but Inter should get three more points: home win.
Genoa-Atalanta: the Rossoblù have looked good in Rome (tie with the Giallorossi) and then at home against Fiorentina, while the Goddess came back versus SPAL but then suffered the same faith by the hands of Torino. A high-scoring draw could be in the cards.
Brescia-Bologna: the Rondinelle surprised Cagliari and put up a fight versus Milan, while the Felsinei emerged last against SPAL and did not manage to defeat Verona on the road in the opener. A draw would not be surprising.
Parma-Cagliari: the Ducali kept it close against Juventus and then got a quality W in Udinese, while the Sardinians started slowly with two losses against Brescia and Inter. The guests need points but they are very depleted and a solid squad like Parma could topple them: home win.
SPAL-Lazio: no points for the Estensi although they performed decently both against Atalanta and Bologna, while the Biancocelesti dominated against Sampdoria and were the better team in the Derby. They fumbled few of this kind of fixtures last season but they tend to smash the minnows: road win.
Roma-Sassuolo: the Giallorossi have gathered just two points, throwing away the Genoa game at home with lousy defending and then tying versus Lazio. The Neroverdi combated but lost to Torino and then blew out Sampdoria. Sassuolo will make it difficult but La Lupa has to put one on the board: home win.
Verona-Milan: the Scaligeri have been frisky and already accumulated four points in the matches against Bologna and Lecce, while the Rossoneri topped Brescia after a disappointing debut against Udinese. The Gialloblù have often stung the Devil at the Bentegodi but it is a prime opportunity for Milan to keep it rolling: road win.
Torino-Lecce: the Granata are one of the just three teams to grab six points in the first two matches thanks to very solid wins over Sassuolo and Atalanta, while the Salentini are at the bottom of the standings due to their losses to Inter and Verona, both dispiriting for different reasons. Home win.
