You may play with friends either by creating or joining a Mini-League in the Standard game or by simply playing the Draft game.

Due the Covid-19 pandemic, the seasonal game officially launches in September, 2020 and ends in May 2021. This period is also referred to as the Season. Please refer to the individual league sites to obtain exact start and end dates for the matches.

You may join the game at any time you choose between the game’s start and end dates. You may also create Mini-Leagues and play the Draft game at any time you want between the start and end dates.

In the Non-DraftGames and Challenge Games, you create your own unique team by choosing 14 Players who play in the European Leagues that are part of our game. You have a budget of 100M to do so. Each Player has a value and the total value of your 14 Players may not exceed 100M. Your selected Players earn you points through their real-world performance in their club matches. You compete against all the other players participating in your game. You may even create or join Mini-Leagues to compete with your friends.

In the Draft Game, you compete against your friends by creating a team of 14 Players that has all unique Players. Your friends and you do not have any Players in common. Your Players do not have values and your team is not subject to a budget. To play the Draft game, you make a list of your favorite Players for every position. The Draft then creates your unique team as well that of every one of your friends who is playing the Draft game with you. Your selected Players earn you points through their real-world performance in their club matches.

The Field View on My Team page is a graphical interface that gives you the basic information you need to play the game and manage your team(s). The Detailed View on My Team page gives you more information about your Players in tabular form if you like to spend more time analyzing statistics.

When you play the game, you will sometimes want to replace some of the Players on your team with others. This is called a Player Transfer. You may do that at any time you choose.

In the Non-Draft and Challenge Games, your team has a budget of 100M. You must remain under this figure at all times including when making Player transfers.

You are not subject to budget limitations when playing the Draft game.

To make a Player transfer, drop a Player by clicking the (-) sign next to his name and add another Player from our pool of Players by selecting the (+) sign next to his name. Added Players must play the same position as dropped Players. Added Players become active as soon as they are added to your team. Transfers must be made at least five (5) minutes prior to the start of the Player's match or at least two (2) hours after the start of the Player's match. If you do not abide by these rules, your team will be disqualified from the game.

You get 20 free Player Transfers and 30 free Player Substitutions to share amongst all of your Teams. These Player Transfers may be used on any one of your teams or divided amongst your teams if you have more than one team. If you are over 13 years old or the minimum age legally required in your place of residence, whichever is greater, you may buy additional Player Transfers if you choose to. To do so, simply click Buy Transfers or Buy Substitutions on your My Team page. Transfers must be made at least five (5) minutes prior to the start of a Player's match or at least two (2) hours after the start of the Player's match. Your team includes 11 starters and 3 bench Players. Only starters earn your team points. Bench Players do not earn you points even if they are playing in a real-world match.

To replace a Player in your starting lineup with a bench player, simply place your mouse over the bench player, keep your finger down on the left button and drag the bench Player over the starting Player you wish to replace. Once there, remove your finger and the subbing will occur. Remember, you may only sub a bench Player for a starter that plays the same position.

A bench Player who is subbed in for a starter becomes active immediately. However, a Player may not be subbed in or out within 5 minutes of the start of the Player's match or within 2 hours after his match has started. This rule applies to both the bench player being subbed in and the starter being subbed out. If you do not abide by these rules, your team will be disqualified from the game.

A Mini-League allows you to play the Standard game with your friends. The objective is for your Standard team to earn more points than the other teams in the Mini-League. There is no limit to the number of teams that may be part of a Mini-League. After creating a Standard team, you may create or join a Mini-League from the My Team page. If you create a Mini-League, you may invite your friends to join. To join an existing Mini-League, you must be invited by the Manager of that Mini-League.
