Anyhow, Kane was very good value for money in EFL. He was valued at £13m in the EFL transfer market, and he finished the season as the best performing Premier League striker. Besides his 29 goals, he also begged a couple of assists and ended the season with a total of 117 points. Kane was also impressive for Spurs in Champions League before they bowed out to Juventus. He scored another seven goals for his side in the European competition.

On the back of his performances for his club and his national side, Kane was awarded the England captaincy by national coach Gareth Southgate. The 24-year-old will lead the Three Lions in the World Cup. Kane was disappointing for England at Euros, and he will have a point to prove in Russia.
