Monaco aim to remain competitive in Ligue 1 after another summer of selling

The transfer window is not over yet, and Monaco might invest more in the coming days. However, the brightest aspect of the window for them is Radamel Falcao’s presence in the squad. The Colombian striker was a key player in an injury-afflicted season for Monaco. The 32-year-old scored 18 goals and provided four assists in 26 league appearances for his side. He was the best Monaco player in EFL with 79 fantasy points last season. Jardim will also have the same backline at his disposal for this season, and this spells well for his defence. Nevertheless, it’s going to be another challenging season for the Portuguese, who has handled everything that has been thrown at him in his current job.
