Prediction: West Ham United 1 – 2 Spurs
Jose Mourinho returns to the Premier League in place of the outgoing Mauricio Pochettino. I think Mourinho’s new Spurs team will get off to a winning start at West Ham on Saturday.
Watford Vs Burnley
Key men: Gerard Deulofeu (Watford); Ashley Barnes (Burnley)
Prediction: Watford 1 – 1 Burnley
Not exactly the most eagerly-anticipated tie of the weekend. Expect a tight game that could well end in a draw.
Arsenal Vs Southampton
Key men: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal); Danny Ings (Southampton)
Prediction: Arsenal 2 – 1 Southampton
Unai Emery’s Arsenal are struggling but so too are Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Saints. Expect a home win for The Gunners.
Bournemouth Vs Wolves
Key men: Harry Wilson (Bournemouth); Ruben Neves (Wolves)
Prediction: Bournemouth 1 – 1 Wolves
A score draw. Wolves have come good after a shaky start to the campaign and these two sides are very evenly matched.
Brighton Vs Leicester City
Key men: Neal Maupay (Brighton); Jamie Vardy (Leicester)
Prediction: Brighton 0 – 2 Leicester City
Brendan Rodgers’ high-flying Foxes will take all three points here. Possibly with a clean sheet for the away side, too.
Crystal Palace Vs Liverpool
Key men: Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace); Sadio Mane (Liverpool)
Prediction: Crystal Palace 1 – 3 Liverpool
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool should have enough about them to win comfortably at Selhurst Park, even without the injured Mohamed Salah.
Everton Vs Norwich City
Key men: Gylfi Sigurdsson (Everton); Teemu Pukki (Norwich)
Prediction: Everton 2 – 0 Norwich City
A home win for Everton here as Norwich are plunged deeper and deeper into relegation trouble.
Manchester City Vs Chelsea
Key men: Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City); N’Golo Kante (Chelsea)
Prediction: Manchester City 3 – 2 Chelsea
The game of the weekend. A high-scoring win for City is my feeling for this clash.
Sheffield United Vs Manchester United
Key men: Lys Mousset (Sheffield United); Marcus Rashford (Manchester United)
Prediction: Sheffield United 1 – 1 Manchester United
Chris Wilder’s well-organised Sheffield United side will make life very difficult for Manchester United on Sunday. I think this one will be a draw.
Aston Villa Vs Newcastle United
Key men: Jack Grealish (Aston Villa); Allan Saint-Maximin (Newcastle)
Prediction: Aston Villa 1 – 0 Newcastle United
A win for Dean Smith’s men on Monday night at Villa Park.
