Sampdoria-Juventus: the Blucerchiati are not the most good-looking side in the Peninsula, but they are often capable of getting the job done due to extemporaneous goals, with the Derby della Lanterna serving as the latest example. Fabio Quagliarella is a bit banged and could not follow up his great display in Cagliari, while Manolo Gabbiadini has been their top scorer with four goals so far. The other guy stepping up to the plate has been Gaston Ramirez, who has notched three goals and one assist in the past two months. Besides the trio, it is hard to trust other players fantasy-wise even though Jakub Jankto will likely be back in the XI and Fabio Depaoli has recovered from his injury. Karol Linetty and Morten Thorsby are pretty energetic players, and the Polish midfielder picked up an assist in the last fixture, but they usually do not contribute much in the offensive end.
Cristiano Ronaldo has found the target four times in the past three rounds and he is correcting the numbers that were a little too pedestrian. Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala are both showing well, but they are in a more supporting role with the five-time Balloon d’Or recipient in the lineup. El Pipa has been a great assist-man so far. Miralem Pjanic and Juan Cuadrado will be back from suspension, but the Bosnian playmaker has not done much of note lately, while the Colombian international is losing some steam due to sloppy play. Douglas Costa and Aaron Ramsey are available but it remains to be seen whether they will be given enough playing time to be relevant. Adrien Rabiot did fine in the past game and might get another shot because of Rodrigo Bentancur’s suspension and he has the skills to do some damage offensively. They have gotten few goals from defenders on set pieces lately.
