Calcio Predictions – Round 29

Torino-Lazio: the Granata took a clear step back against Cagliari after picking up four points in the previous two matches and gave up four goals. Lazio had to labour but did bounce back with a late surge against Fiorentina. Even if the Biancocelesti have not look great in the resumption, the difference between the two sides might been too prominent: 1-3.

Genoa-Juventus: the Griffon salvaged a point in Brescia after going down two-nil in the score, following up a trashing by Parma with a subpar result. The Bianconeri instead defeated Bologna and Lecce pretty convincingly, pushing their winning streak to five game: 0-2.

Bologna-Cagliari: the Felsinei returned to winning ways after four rounds by outlasting Sampdoria, the Sardinians instead have took home two in a row and looked good in the Walter Zenga era: 3-3.

Inter-Brescia: the Beneamata miracoulously rallied back versus Parma, considering how they had been playing up to that point, and avoided the second straight disappointing result after the draw with Sassuolo. The Rondinelle have equalized twice in a row and have performed marginally better than before the lockdown, but the match-up is very difficult: 2-1.

Fiorentina-Sassuolo: La Viola was quite undeservedly dropped by Lazio in the past match, losing the first game in four rounds. They had equalized thrice in a row. Sassuolo are coming off two 3-3 draws in a raw against Inter and Verona: 2-2.

Verona-Parma: the Scaligeri were literally pipped at post versus Sassuolo but fared better than in the loss to Napoli. The Ducali were impressive against Inter but did not finish the job. The had romped Genoa in the previous tilt: 1-1.

Lecce-Sampdoria: a pivotal clash in the relegation zone. Lecce have been beaten four times in a row, but by quality opponents like Roma, Atalanta, Milan and Juventus. Three straight losses instead for Sampdoria, which fell to Inter, Roma and Bologna. The Blucerchiati have looked a tiny bit better in the resumption and the Giallorossi have generally been poor at home: 1-2.

SPAL-Milan: the Estensi have put up a fight both against Cagliari and Napoli but lost anyway. The Rossoneri defeated Lecce and Roma and looked good in the process: 0-3.

Atalanta-Napoli: a clash between two of the most in-form sides in the League as the Bergamaschi have triumphed six times in a row, including dates with Roma and Lazio, the Partenopei instead did it in five occasions, with the most notable victories coming versus Cagliari and Verona. Hard to pick against Atalanta right now: 3-2.

Roma-Udinese: after three consecutive Ws, Roma were topped soundly by Milan. The Bianconeri gave Atalanta a scare but still lost for the second match in a row and have not prevailed in nine consecutive matchdays: 2-1.
