Atalanta: Ruslan Malinovskyi contracted COVID-19. Marten De Roon, Robin Gosens and José Luis Palomino are expected to be available, at least in limited capacity, following their thigh injuries. Matteo Ruggeri is fatigued but available and Cristiano Piccini has been called up for the first time in the season. Luis Muriel, Hans Hateboer and Berat Djimsiti are surprise exclusions from the squad list.
Benevento: Gianluca Caprari will serve the second game of his suspension. Iago Falque is not totally back from a muscular injury and remains a question mark. Alessandro Tuia is out with a fractured cheekbone. Brayan Dabo tested positive upon rertuing from international duties. Daam Foulon is out with a calf injury, Nicolas Viola because of lack of conditioning.
Bologna: Aaron Hickey is slated to return from a small problem that sidelined him in the previous game, while Jerdy Schouten is trying to shake off some recent muscle fatigue. Gary Medel (calf), Nicola Sansone (hip), Andrea Poli and Ibrahima Mbaye (thigh)are back after missing some matches, Mitchell Dijks (toe) and especially Andreas Skov Olsen, who underwent back surgery during the break, will need more time.
Cagliari: Charalampos Lykogiannis hurt his calf playing with his national team. Alessandro Tripaldelli has recuperated from a thigh a pull, while Paolo Faragò, Luca Ceppitelli and Zito Luvumbo, all nursing thigh strains, are more behind in their timetable and will skip another one. Diego Godin has caught Coronavirus like few other members of the Uruguayan national team, while Nahitan Nandez has tested negative upon returning, but he will be held out as a precaution.

Inter: Marcelo Brozovic and Aleksandar Kolarov caught COVID-19 while on international duties. Andrea Pinamonti has a sore ankle. Stefano Sensi continues to deal with thigh problems and might stay sidelined.
Juventus: Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini both suffered thigh strains that will force them to sit out some matches. Matthijs De Ligt (shoulder) and Alex Sandro (thigh) will return after missing the first chunk of the season and Federico Chiesa (thigh) and Paulo Dybala (UTI) are on track to be available as well. Aaron Ramsey (thigh) is poised to skip another match.
Lazio: Lucas Leiva and Ciro Immobile turned negative and will probably be used right away. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic contracted COVID while with the Serbian national team. Luiz Felipe has not practiced during the break because of the same reason. Senad Lulic and Gonzalo Escalante (thigh) are nearing a return but will not be available here. Thomas Strakosha (Coronavirus) has been cleared on Friday.
Milan: Alessio Romagnoli and Alexis Saelemaekers will be available after some ailments sidelined them in the previous match, while Rafael Leao will miss some time with a thigh strain. Mateo Musacchio has resumed practicing with the rest of the team after ankle surgery.
Napoli: Victor Osimhen sprained his right shoulder playing with Nigeria but he should not be out for long (if at all). Amir Rrahmani is undergoing evaluations for the same issue. David Ospina is dealing with an unspecified muscular injury. Elseid Hysaj tested positive for COVID-19, while Tiemoué Bakayoko had to deal with an illness but should be good to go.
Parma: Andreas Cornelius and Maxime Busi will return from thigh injuries, while Lautaro Valenti will be sidelined for a while with a recent strain. Valentin Mihaila (groin) and Vincent Laurini (thigh) are a couple of weeks away. Hernani is out with a cracked rib.
Roma: Edin Dzeko, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Marash Kumbulla, Federico Fazio and Davide Santon caught Coronavirus two weeks ago: only Pellegrini has shaken it off and will be available, although in limited fashion. Amadou Diawara and Riccardo Calafiori will be back from the same situation and also Leonardo Spinazzola and Carles Perez are likely to be available following muscular problems. Chris Smalling is out because of food poisoning. Javier Pastore might be back from hip surgery.
Sampdoria: Tommaso Augello and Lorenzo Tonelli are suspended. Manolo Gabbiadini has made progress in his recovery from a nagging groin injury and should be called up, while Balde Keita will spend some more time on the shelf with a thigh strain.
Sassuolo: Filip Djuricic and Jeremy Toljan will be back after COVID, while Lukas Haraslin and Federico Ricci need more time before being ready to play. Francesco Caputo, Gregoire Defrel, Vlad Chiriches and Francesco Magnanelli have all been limited in practice throughout the break because of muscular issues: the two strikers have been ruled out.
Spezia: Martin Erlic and Giulio Maggiore are back after COVID, Diego Farias, Federico Mattiello and Gennaro Acampora after muscular problems. Julien Chabot and Kevin Agudelo are good to go despite being banged up, while Salvador Ferrer and Cristiano Dell’Orco have been ruled out with minor ailments. Paolo Bartolomei and Giuseppe Mastinu will continue nursing their fractures, Jeroen Zoet, Andrej Galabinov and Daniele Verde will remain on the mend with thigh strains. Leo Sena recently picked up a calf one.
Torino: Armando Izzo might return from a knee bruise, Vincenzo Millico after COVID. Daniele Baselli should be back in early December from his ACL tear. The club announced four COVID cases and then ruled out Sasa Lukic, Mergim Vojvoda, Amer Gojak and Samir Ujkani.
Udinese: Roberto Pereyra missed international duties with a left thigh injury but it is not a severe one and he has some chances this weekend. Rolando Mandragora has been called up for the first time after his major knee injury. Mamadou Coulibaly, Sebastian Prodl and Walace remain out. Gerard Deulofeu has flown to Spain for the birth of his child.
Verona: Darko Lazovic contracted COVID with Serbia. Mattia Zaccagni was sent home from the Italy camp but his thigh issue is not significant. Mert Cetin turned his ankle with Turkey but should be fine, instead Matteo Lovato will miss time with a thigh strain. Miguel Veloso (calf) and Pawel Dawidowicz (thigh) are expected back, while Koray Gunter (thigh), Andrea Favilli, Marco Faraoni (thigh), Ronaldo Vieira (thigh), Marco Benassi (thigh) and Kevin Ruegg (thigh) need more time. Federico Ceccherini is dealing with some fatigue.
