Serie A Injury and Suspension Report – Round Ten

Atalanta: Pierluigi Gollini subbed off after hurting his surgically repaired left knee last week, but the tests ruled out structural damage and confirmed a hyperextension. Ruslan Malinovskyi has shaken off COVID, while Aleksey Miranchuk tested positive late last week. Fabio Depaoli has recovered from his thigh problem.

Cagliari: Adam Ounas contracted COVID, joining Diego Godin, Gaston Pereiro, Nahitan Nandez and Giovanni Simeone on the list. Charalampos Lykogiannis (calf) has ramped up his activity in practice and has a chance to be called up, Luca Ceppitelli and Zito Luvumbo (thigh) will likely need more time. Ragnar Klavan is fatigued.

Crotone: few players had to deal with fatigue and dings and bruises, but most seem on track to be available this week. The list comprises Ahmad Benali (calf), Koffi Djidji (back), Junior Messias, Lisandro Magallan and Luca Marrone, while Emmanuel Riviere (quad) and Luca Siligardi (thigh) are dealing with more serious stuff. Luca Cigarini (calf) and Andrea Rispoli (knee) are out.

Sampdoria: Omar Colley has recovered from a stomach bug. Balde Keita will stay out with a thigh strain.

Sassuolo: Francesco Caputo is once again questionable to play with an adductor ailment, but he is reportedly improving and will be back next week at the latest. Spezia: Paolo Bartolomei (foot) and Luca Mora are back, while Tommaso Pobega (thigh) and Daniele Verde (thigh) are progressing but did not make the squad list. Jean-Victor Makengo and Kevin Lasagna (knee) instead missed the match for different reasons.

Verona: the once again have few banged up defenders as Lovato (contracture), Mert Cetin and Giangiacomo Magnani have thigh issues and Koray Gunter. Lovato and Magnani should be good to go, per the coach, while the other are likely to remain out. Darko Lazovic shook off COVID but will probably need some more time. Nikola Kalinic (thigh), Ronaldo Vieira (thigh) and Kevin Ruegg will not be back this week.
