Top Five Fantasy Football Midfielders – Premier League – Round 21

dele

There is a definite London feel about our top 5 fantasy football midfielders for the Premier League this weekend. We focus on Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen from Spurs, Mesut Ozil from Arsenal and Nemanja Matic and Willian from Chelsea.

Dele Alli – Tottenham Hotspur

Dele Alli, who was signed from MK Dons has really taken his chance at Tottenham Hotspur and going into this match he has scored a quite incredible ten goals in his seventeen starts. The 20-year-old attacking midfielder is valued at just 8.5M and with a total points tally of 55, he is just three points behind Eden Hazard who leads the way in the midfielder charts. He will be expecting to add to his tally this weekend.

Christain Eriksen – Tottenham Hotspur

Sticking with Tottenham, another star performing midfielder, Christian Eriksen has proved to be invaluable this season. He has scored five goals, assisted seven and had seven clean sheets. His value of 9M seems to be more than fair and with a home game against West Bromwich Albion coming up this weekend, Tottenham will be expecting three points.

Mesut Ozil – Arsenal

With Theo Walcott being ruled out again, Arsene Wenger will look to the creativity of Mesut Ozil as his side face a struggling Swansea City team who are stuck in the relegation zone. Ozil has scored five and assisted three and for 10.5M he looks decent value. He has a great chance of getting on the scoresheet this weekend as Arsenal look for a convincing win which will keep them in touch with leaders Chelsea at the top end of the table.

Nemanja Matic – Chelsea

Nemanja Matic hasn’t yet scored for Chelsea, but he has been instrumental in their rise to the top. In seventeen starts, he has assisted six goals and kept a massive eleven clean sheets. He has accumulated 32 points so far this season and valued at just 8.5M, the chances are, he will add to that points tally this weekend.

Willian – Chelsea

Chelsea midfielder Willian has made just ten starts, but in those ten starts he has an amazing return of five goals and one assist. He is valued at 8.5M and has racked up a total of 36 points. It’s hard to see Chelsea drop any points this weekend as they face Leicester City, who have struggled badly to hit the heights of last season.
