Top Fantasy Football Goalkeepers – Premier League – Week 27

As the Premier League enters a crucial phase, we take a look at 5 goal keepers who should be in your fantasy football team. David de Gea of Manchester United, Lee Grant of Stoke City, Manchester City keeper Claudio Bravo, Kasper Schmeichel of Leicester City and Ben Foster of West Bromwich Alboin all come under the spotlight.

David de Gea – Manchester United

Manchester United won their first silverware of the season last weekend, but it’s back to league action this week as they face a woefully out of form Bournemouth side at Old Trafford. Miraculously, Manchester United are just 5 points off second place and David de Gea, who has played in 25 matches this season, should be good for a clean sheet this weekend. He is valued at 12.5M, but his 10 clean sheets makes him well worthy of that price tag.

Lee Grant – Stoke City

Stoke City are having a decent season and this weekend they face the lowest scorers in the Premier League, Middlesbrough. It’s a great opportunity for Lee Grant, who has started 21 matches and kept 7 clean sheets, to add to his points tally of 24. He is valued at just 3M and with a price/performance ratio of 7.3, he is certainly one player who should come under serious consideration.

Manchester City – Claudio Bravo

Claudio Bravo is not having the best of seasons, but Manchester City look like they are hitting top form as the season draws to a close. They face bottom side Sunderland on Sunday and the keeper, valued at 13M and with a points total of just 6, should be capable of keeping the worst team in the Premier League out.

Kasper Schmeichel – Leicester City

Leicester have been dismal this season, however, a 3-1 win over Liverpool may have given them a confidence boost at the right time. Kasper Schmeichel has been far from impressive but with a home match against Hull City (who have failed to score in 4 of their last 5 on the road), he has a great chance of keeping a clean sheet. He is valued at 5.5M and has -3 points for the season so far.

Ben Foster – West Bromwich Albion

Ben Foster has been consistent for West Brom this season and the keeper who is valued at just 3M should surely come under consideration for your team this weekend as they face a poor Crystal Palace side at home. He has kept 5 clean sheets this season and his price/performance ratio is 3.0.
