Chelsea and Tottenham players still dominate our list of top five defenders from Premier League. However, Spurs defenders have broken Chelsea’s dominance in the recent weeks.

This game week, second-placed Spurs have a comfortable home fixture against Bournemouth while Chelsea have a tricky away tie at Manchester United. In other key fixtures, Manchester City will travel to Southampton; Arsenal will head north to Middlesbrough and Liverpool will face West Brom.

Chelsea players still occupy top two spots on our list, but the rest of the list has a very different look to it.
Here are top five Premier League defenders for game week 32.

1. Marcos Alonso – Chelsea

The Spaniard has been a key part of Antonio Conte’s 3-4-2-1 system this season and has proved to be equally effective going forward. The 26-year-old has the highest point tally of 81, but the most attractive aspect of the Chelsea man is his dirt-cheap price in the market. He is a steal at 2m in the market. He has managed 13 clean sheets in 28 appearances. He has also scored five goals and provided two assists.

2. Gary Cahill – Chelsea

The England international is quite far behind his teammate Alonso at 71 points. The veteran centre-back is also quite expensive at 10m in the transfer market. He has kept 13 clean sheets in 31 appearances for the Blues and has also contributed with four key goals.
