Milan found their first W scraping by Brescia. Genoa defeated Fiorentina, Sassuolo ragdolled Sampdoria, Bologna downed SPAL in the final minutes and Verona escaped Lecce with three valuable points.
Confirmations: Domenico Berardi demolished the Blucerchiati with an astounding hat-trick, while Duvan Zapata had a brace with two of his customary gems full of physicality and quickness. Three of the four players that hit the net in both rounds are a little out left field: Christian Kouame, Erick Pulgar, Aleksandar Kolarov and Romelu Lukaku, the only predictable one.
