Serie A Injury and Suspension Report – Round 37

Atalanta: Rafael Toloi might be available following a small thigh strain. Luis Muriel picked up a knock in the same area and might be managed.

Benevento: Luca Caldirola is suspended. Iago Falque was unavailable midweek due to a sore adductor. Their other injured guys are done for the season.

Bologna: Gary Medel could make his return from a calf strain either in this or in the final round. Slim hopes instead for their other players on the shelf. 

Cagliari: Riccardo Sottil (thigh strain) has resumed practicing partially with the group. Sebastian Walukiewicz (back pain) and Arturo Calabresi (thigh muscle fatigue) were late scratches for the last game. Gaston Pereiro is in the COVID protocol.

Crotone: Arkadiusz Reca is out with a knee sprain, while Pedro Pereira left the last game early with a possible ankle issue.

Fiorentina: Bartlomiej Dragowski subbed off midweek with a muscular problem, which is believed to be minor.

Genoa: Milan Badelj bowed out early Wednesday due to a quad contusion. Lennart Czyborra (undisclosed injury), Domenico Criscito (calf edema) and Luca Pellegrini (thigh strain) have remained limited in training.

Inter: Alexis Sanchez turned his ankle in the last game and is being evaluated. Aleksandar Kolarov underwent surgery for a herniated disc after being on the mend for few weeks. Arturo Vidal is iffy again due to knee soreness.

Juventus: no absentees for Andrea Pirlo.

Lazio: Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is expected to play with a mask after breaking his nose.

Milan: Sandro Tonali is looking to shake off a knock, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic is poised to skip the last two with a knee sprain.

Napoli: Kalidou Koulibaly (calf pull) and Nikola Maksimovic (COVID) will remain sidelined, like Stanislav Lobotka (tonsillectomy).

Parma: Gervinho was a very late scratch midweek due to thigh soreness. Juraj Kucka should be back after being rested. Valentin Mihaila (thigh tendinopathy) and Giuseppe Pezzella (shoulder injury) are questionable after missing some time.

Roma: Amadou Diawara (groin soreness), Riccardo Calafiori (thigh problem), Chris Smalling (thigh muscle fatigue) and Federico Fazio have an outside shot to be available for the Derby, while Jordan Veretout and Leonardo Spinazzola are out with thigh strains.

Sampdoria: Adrien Silva (knee bruise), Morten Thorsby and Omar Colley are banged up.

Sassuolo: Francesco Magnanelli was on the bench but unusable in the past two games, while Filip Djuricic and Jeremie Boga have recovered.

Spezia: M’Bala Nzola was disciplined in the last game and the coach will have to clarify whether or not it was a one-time measure. Julian Chabot and Gennaro Acampora are dinged up.

Torino: Karol Linetty is suspended. Armando Izzo (thigh muscle fatigue) and Nicholas N’Koulou (ankle sprain) are expected to be good to go, differently from Nicola Murru (thigh pull) and Amer Gojak (back pain).

Udinese: Tolgay Arslan has a knee sprain and might miss the next two games. Bram Nuytinck is instead trying to shake off a knock on the tibia, Sebastien De Maio an unspecified muscular issue.

Verona: Ronaldo Vieira is back on the shelf with a thigh issue, although less severe than his previous ones. Miguel Veloso did not feature but was available against Crotone.
