Top Football Players – Midfielders – Premier League – Round 38

It’s the final round of fixtures in the Premier League on Sunday and we should see plenty of action as three teams fight it our for two Champions League places. Our midfield selections this weekend will be Kevin de Bruyne of Manchester City, Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana of Liverpool, Mesut Ozil from Arsenal and Eden Hazard of Chelsea.

Kevin De Bruyne – Manchester City

A point against Watford on Sunday will seal a top-four finish, however, they will be looking for all three points which will guarantee them third place. Kevin De Bruyne was on the scoresheet during the week in their 3-1 win over West Bromwich Albion and will certainly feature here. He has 6 goals, 16 assists and 11 clean sheets for the season so far and has racked up a total of 72 points. He can be in your fantasy football team for 11.5M and his price/performance ratio is 6.6.

Philippe Coutinho – Liverpool

Liverpool host already relegated Middlesbrough on Sunday and they should have no trouble picking up the three points that will see them finish ahead of Arsenal and guarantee a place in the top four. Philippe Coutinho’s contribution to the side this season has been massive as he has weighed in with 12 goals, 7 assists and 8 clean sheets. He is valued at 9M and has accumulated a total of 76 points this season, giving him a price/performance ratio of 8.7.

Adam Lallana – Liverpool

Given what’s at stake for Liverpool on Sunday, they should have no trouble in overcoming Middlesbrough. Adam Lallana has started 26 matches this season and is valued at 7.5M. He has scored 7, assisted 7 and had 8 clean sheets. HHis points total is 55 and his price/performance ratio is 7.6.

Mesut Ozil – Arsenal

A fourth place finish is now out fo Arsenal’s hands and they must win their home match against Everton, whilst hoping either Manchester City or Liverpool slip up. Mesut Ozil is having a reasonable season with 8 goals, 8 assists and 12 clean sheets. Valued at 8M, he has racked up 70 points for the season so far and his price/performance ratio of 6.9 may well rise this weekend.

Eden Hazard – Chelsea

It’s been a remarkable turnaround for both Eden Hazard and Chelsea this season. They will look to round off their season in style with a home win against bottom side Sunderland. Eden Hazard is having a phenomenal season with 15 goals, 5 assists and 15 clean sheets. He is valued at 12M and his price/performance ratio is 8.1.
