A very interesting week is coming up. Here is the suggested team to pick: the line-up is a 3-4-3.
Alisson: He got beat by a penalty against Genoa, but it was another good showing for the stout Roma defence and it was not for Daniele De Rossi’s blatant mistake, he could have easily come away with another clean sheet. Among the top teams, the Giallorossi have the softest match-up as they host Spal.
German Pezzella: He has been a fine addition to Fiorentina’s defence this season and he easily beat out the competition from the Vitor Hugo and Nikola Milenkovic for the starting job. The Viola have been up and down, but they will face the second worst attack in the League on Sunday: Sassuolo. He has also already scored one.
Ricardo Rodriguez: Milan will continue to field a three-man defence for the time being, so he will have plenty of opportunities to attack down that flank in a more advanced position. Last week, he scored and picked up an assist against Austria Wien in Europa League, so there is strong extra-point potential. Benevento have netted only six goals so far this season.
Lorenzo De Silvestri: Atalanta have not so subtly been very bad on the road so far, where they have yet to win a game and have lost three in a row. Torino are not a juggernaut but De Silvestri is enjoying a nice season, as he has already collected 14 points.
Marcelo Brozovic: this year, he has been hurt by the fact that Luciano Spalletti’s system does not include his best position, the box-to-box midfielder one. As a result, he has been a backup, but he will most definitely feature from the start against Chievo Verona due to Roberto Gagliardini’s suspension and Matias Vecino’s minor injury. He has scored three times in 359 minutes.
Alessio Cerci: He was a terror in the Sassuolo game and he could have tallied multiple assist if it was not for Mattia Valoti’s poor finishing skills. He is playing more centrally and he is showing signs of his former Torino self. He could have with a better partner as Hellas Verona take on Genoa on Monday.
Suso: Gennaro Gattuso said that he is intrigued by his position and that he could assume a bigger role, similar to Lorenzo Insigne’s one at Napoli, so he will have a central part in the new coach’s design. He has been Milan’s most consistent man and they will face Benevento, which have the leakiest defence in Serie A.
Rodrigo De Paul: he has been among the top earners in his position and Udinese will travel to Crotone, which can be very porous and is coming off two straight losses. He was used as no.10 in the first game with Massimo Oddo at the helm: he could thrive in his natural position.
