Radja Nainggolan (calf) was ruled out in advance, while Ivan Brozovic, who subbed off in Serie A last week, spent the night on the bench because of a minor thigh ailment. Nainggolan will not play the Derby, while Brozovic is on the right track. Joao Miranda broke his nose against SPAL and will be on the shelf this week.

Cengiz Under (thigh), Kostas Manolas (calf), Lorenzo Pellegrini (thigh) and Daniele De Rossi (calf) remain sidelined due to strains.

Torino: no concerns for Walter Mazzarri.

Lazio: Ciro Immobile is disqualified. Jordan Lukaku is out for the season after knee surgery to solve a tendinopathy that has forced him to sit for prolonged stretches both at the beginning of the season and in the last month. Wallace (thigh) and Valon Berisha (calf) are close to recuperating, but it might not happen this week.

Sampdoria: Jacopo Sala had a muscular hiccup this week, but he should be at his coach’s disposal. Riccardo Saponara subbed off last week due to a tendon problem, Gaston Ramirez due to a blow to the lower leg: they will not be available this week.

Alban Lafont is in the squad list but expected to sit another one due to an ankle sprain. Jordan Veretout is suspended.

Samir is getting closer after ankle surgery, while Antonin Barak is still without a timetable.

SPAL: Manuel Lazzari is poised to return this week after missing three games with a thigh pull. Mattia Valoti is suspended.

Empoli: Antonino La Gumina tore the LCL in the right knee and might be out for the season if they opt for the surgical option. Luca Antonelli is again doubtful due to a thigh strain.
