Serie A Injury and Suspension Report – Round 32

Atalanta: everybody is available and perhaps that is one of the reasons behind their success.

Bologna: Stefano Denswil is suspended, while Roberto Soriano won the appeal and will be available. Federico Santander and Andrea Poli should not be out much longer with their thigh strain, while Andreas Skov Olsen returned in the last round. Jerdy Schouten will miss a couple of weeks due to a biceps femoris strain.

Brescia: Emanuele Ndoj was available against Torino. Jhon Chancellor (thigh) is progressing and is likely to come back at some point, Andrea Cistana is still 50/50 for the season.

Cagliari: Luca Pellegrini is slated to remain on the shelf with an ankle sprain, while Christian Oliva (ankle), Luca Ceppitelli (thigh) and Gaston Pereiro (thigh) have practiced in some capacity and therefore have an outside chance to be back in this round.

Fiorentina: Alfred Duncan is banned, Marco Benassi is out for the season with a significant calf strain. Gaetano Castrovilli has a sore ankle but will at least be at his coach’s disposal.

Genoa: Cristian Romero missed the last game with an adductor problem and there have been scarce indications about its severity. Domenico Criscito and Stefano Sturaro are iffy after being left on the stands in the previous match.

Inter: Romelu Lukaku will have to be assessed after feeling some discomfort in his adductor. Victor Moses might be back after some muscle fatigue, while Nicolò Barella will likely need some more time. Stefano Sensi (thigh) does not appear to be close.

Juventus: Alex Sandro and Giorgio Chiellini returned in the last round, Mattia De Sciglio is poised to do the same in short order.

Lazio: Patric was slapped with a four-game suspension for biting an opponent. Luiz Felipe shook of a calf problem, Adam Marusic is doubtful with a thigh one, Joaquin Correa (knee) will miss few more matches. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is not 100 percent due to calf soreness.

Lecce: Khouma Babacar subbed off in the last game due to a thigh injury that is being evaluated. Biagio Meccariello is unavailable despite being considered close to returning. Luca Rossettini has an uncertain timetable due to a virus.

Milan: Leo Duarte and Samu Castillejo are nursing thigh injuries and will probably miss this one as well.

Napoli: all healthy besides Kevin Malcuit, who is working on his conditioning after an ACL tear, and Fernando Llorente, who has been slowed down by an undisclosed issue.

Parma: Roberto Inglese (groin) is available after an eternity, Andreas Cornelius is out due to a last-minute injury.

Roma: Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Bryan Cristante are suspended. Davide Santon suffered a calf strain that will cost him some time. Chris Smalling is out with a thigh injury. Juan Jesus has a sore hip, Justin Kluivert was excluded by the coach versus Parma.

Sampdoria: Ronaldo Vieira has an inflamed patellar tendon, Lorenzo Tonelli is recovering from an MCL sprain.

Sassuolo: Pedro Obiang has been sidelined by thigh injury.

SPAL: Ervin Zukanovic (ankle) is iffy, Mattia Valoti and Mo Fares will miss a couple more with thigh problems.

Torino: Simone Zaza is disqualified.

Verona: Mattia Zaccagni and Salvatore Bocchetti were ruled out late for the Inter clash with knee soreness, Giampaolo Pazzini with a thigh pull. Pawel Dawidowicz is trying to solve a pec injury, Fabio Borini, Eddie Salcedo and Valentin Eysseric instead a thigh one and they are all questionable.
