Serie A Injury and Suspension Report – Round 38

Atalanta: Josip Ilicic will miss another one and will be probably joined by José Palomino, who picked up a thigh problem in the last game.

Bologna: Mattia Bani (calf) and Takehiro Tomiyasu (thigh) will not be back for the season finale. Mitchell Dijks and Ladislav Krejci (thigh) have been ruled out.

Brescia: Jhon Chancellor and Simon Skrabb are out, while Jesse Joronen, Alfredo Donnarumma and even Andrea Cistana are in the squad list, but that is not necessarily an indication they are certainly going to play.

Cagliari: Marko Rog is disqualified and Luca Pellegrini (ankle) and Radja Nainggolan (calf) will remain on the shelf, like Christian Oliva (ankle). Joao Pedro and Daniele Ragatzu have been ruled out with thigh issues.

Fiorentina: Bartlomiej Dragowski has skipped few matches with back issues and he is still in doubt. Rachid Ghezzal is suspended and Gaetano Castrovilli went under the knife to reduce a nose fracture. Franck Ribery missed the last game with a thigh ailment. Marco Benassi was supposed to be done with his calf injury, but instead he has recovered quickly.

Genoa: Stefano Sturaro and Antonio Sanabria have spent some time on the mend with unspecified injuries and they are questionable again, while Francesco Cassata returned in the last round.

Inter: Stefano Sensi (thigh) and Mattia Vecino will finish the season on the disabled list, but the Italian midfielder might be back in Europa League.

Juventus: Miralem Pjanic will miss his final Serie A match with Juventus due to yellow-card accumulation. Giorgio Chiellini (calf), Mattia De Sciglio (thigh), Danilo (head), Matthijs De Ligt and Aaron Ramsey were spared in the past match but the first two are said to be close to recovering from their injuries, while the last three were held out as a precaution. Paulo Dybala, Douglas Costa and Sami Khedira are surely out with thigh injuries of different nature and severity.

Lazio: Felipe Caicedo is questionable due to Achilles tendon soreness, Stefan Radu (calf), Senad Lulic (ankle) and Lucas Leiva (knee) are done.

Lecce: Nehuen Paz is suspended. Marco Mancosu subbed off after hurting his back in the last game but the tests came back clean. Gianluca Lapadula (ankle) and Marco Calderoni (thigh) subbed off and are being evaluated. Khouma Babacar and Diego Farias are banged up as well.

Milan: Ante Rebic is suspended. Andrea Conti might miss another one with a knee sprain and Davide Calabria is fatigued. Alessio Romagnoli (calf) and Mateo Musacchio (ankle) are definitely out.

Napoli: Fernando Llorente recently went into full training, while Kostas Manolas has made a surprisingly quick recovery from a ribs fracture.

Parma: Juraj Kucka is suspended. Matteo Scozzarella and Gaston Brugman are nursing calf strains, Andreas Cornelius, Alberto Grassi and Hernani thigh ones. Cornelius and Hernani have recovered, the others have not and will be joined by Yann Karamoh.

Roma: Gianluca Mancini is banned. Few players made the squad list against Torino, leaving Federico Fazio (ankle) and Juan Jesus (hip) as the only absentees, on top of Lorenzo Pellegrini (nose).

Sampdoria: Bartosz Bereszynski is suspended, Julian Chabot is dinged up but was in the initial squad list in the last game. Albin Ekdal is dealing with an ankle sprain.

Sassuolo: Jeremie Boga slowed down in practice and his return from a lower leg muscular problem is not certain. Gregoire Defrel (thigh) and Vlad Chiriches (calf) are iffy as well, while Pedro Obiang came back against Genoa but then picked up his tenth yellow card and so he will be out.

SPAL: Sergio Floccari (forehead), Lucas Castro (thigh), Alberto Cerri (hand), Jacopo Sala (ankle), Ervin Zukanovic (ankle) and Etrit Berisha (hand) all sat out at least the last two rounds and there is little point in rushing them back. Andrea Petagna is questionable due to a calf problem.

Torino: Soualiho Meite and Lyanco are suspended, Lorenzo De Silvestri (shoulder) and Daniele Baselli (knee) are injured. Wilfred Singo hurt his shoulder, while Armando Izzo should be good to go.

Udinese: Sebastian Prodl, Mato Jajalo and Lukas Teodorczyk are unlikely to feature due to knee problems, Bram Nuytinck is out with an ankle one.

Verona: Alan Empereur (calf), Pawel Dawidowicz (pec), Claud Adjapong and Marash Kumbulla (thigh) have an outside shot to be available for the season finale after some time on the mend.
