It’s time to take a look at strikers in the Premier League in our pursuit to get the perfect fantasy football side.
The has been a little movement among the top strikers in Premier League, and the usual suspects feature on our list. However, Everton frontman Romelu Lukaku has raced into an almost inaccessible lead at the top.
In key fixtures this week, Chelsea will travel to Man Utd, Arsenal will make a visit to Middlesbrough, Everton will host Burnley and Man City will travel south to Southampton. Tottenham striker Harry Kane has missed out due to an injury and City forward Sergio Aguero has found his way into the list at his expense. Let’s take a look.
1. Romelu Lukaku – Everton
In the absence of Harry Kane, not only Romelu Lukaku has raced to the top of our list with 105 points, but he is also leading the Golden Boot race with 23 goals. He has also provided six assists in his 31 appearances. He is available for 10.5m in the market. He scored a brace in Everton’s 4-2 win over Leicester City last week, and we are backing him to score against Bournemouth.
P/P Ratio: 10.4
2. Alexis Sanchez – Arsenal
The Chilean hasn’t scored for a while for the Gunners, but he still occupies the second spot on our list. Results haven’t been good for Arsenal of late, but we are backing Sanchez to come good against the Boro. He is available for 12.5m and has 85 points to show for his efforts. He has scored 18 goals and provided nine assists in 30 appearances this season.
P/P Ratio: 7.1
3. Diego Costa – Chelsea
The Chelsea frontman occupies the third spot with 69 points. He is available for a reasonable price of 9.5m in the transfer market. He has scored 17 goals and provided five assists in 29 appearances for Antonio Conte’s side.
P/P Ratio: 7.2
4. Zlatan Ibrahimovic – Manchester United
After returning from his suspension, Ibrahimovic has been in superb form for United and has scored two goals in his last two league appearances. He has put together 70 points, but he is really expensive at 15m. In his 27 appearances, he has scored 17 goals and provided five assists.
P/P Ratio: 4.8
5. Sergio Aguero – Manchester City
The Argentinean has found his way into our list in place of Harry Kane. He hasn’t been a regular starter for Pep Guardiola’s side throughout the season and has managed only 20 starts. He has scored 16 goals for his total of 57 points. He is available for 14m in the market.
