Top Strikers in La Liga – Week 7

messiparis
There were a couple of extraordinary striking performances in the game week seven of La Liga as most of the big sides registered wins in their respective fixtures.

Atletico Madrid were the big losers during the weekend as they could only register a goalless draw at Leganes while the remaining sides in the top five claimed maximum points.

Lionel Messi has been at the best of his form for the Catalans this season, and with 50 points from seven starts, he is way ahead of the rest of the competition in La Liga.

The Argentine was once again among points as Barca defeated Las Palmas 3-2 during the weekend to continue their perfect start to the season. However, it was someone else who stole the limelight during the week seven of the season. Let’s take a detailed look at the best La Liga strikers in EuroFantasyLeague for the week.

Villarreal striker Cedric Bakambu produced arguably the best performance of his life as he scored a hat-trick in the Yellow Submarines’ 3-0 win over Eibar. The Congolese forward picked up a whopping 14 points on the back of his Man of the Match performance in the game. Bakambu, who has scored five league goals in six starts this season, has put together a total of 20 points and has climbed up to the third spot in the overall La Liga striker table. He is available for a decent value of 3.5m in the market and could prove to be a wise investment for your fantasy side this season.

Lionel Messi occupies the second spot in our list on the back of his commendable performance in the 3-0 win over Las Palmas. The Argentinean, who proved to be the saviour for his national side during the international break, scored a brace and provided an assist to collect ten points from the game. Messi is the most expensive player in EuroFantasyLeague at 22m, but his tally of 50 points proves that he is worth every penny of his value.

Isco of Real Madrid is the next name on our list with eight points. The Spaniard scored a brace in his side’s 2-0 win over Espanyol. The 25-year-old also has an assist from his seven appearances and has totalled ten fantasy points this season. He is available for 5.5m in the market.

Next, on the list, the likes of Rodrigo (Valencia), Willian Jose (Real Sociedad), Iker Muniain (Athletic Bilbao), Luis Muriel (Sevilla), Munir El Haddadi (Alaves) and Lucas Perez (Arsenal) managed to pick four points each during the week.
