Serie A Injury and Suspension Report – Round 30

Atalanta: José Palomino was announced to be out for the past game, but he actually recovered last-minute and played few minutes, so no worries for Gian Piero Gasperini.

Bologna: Ibrahima Mbaye has missed some time with a minor injury. Andrea Poli, Federico Santander and Andreas Skov Olsen are out with thigh strains.

Brescia: same as usual as Andrea Cistana (lower leg), Jhon Chancellor (thigh) and Dimitri Bisoli (knee) are out long-term.

Luca Ceppitelli and Sebastian Walukiewicz asked to come out in the last match-up and are being evaluated for potential thigh problems: the former is out, the latter is available. Gaston Pereiro (thigh) and Christian Oliva (ankle) are on the mend, Ragnar Klavan (thigh) is available to return.

Fiorentina: Martin Caceres is available after being suspended for two games, while Dusan Vlahovic will finish serving his ban. Christian Kouame is available after an ACL tear.

Genoa: Lasse Schone is suspended. Domenico Criscito is unlikely to be back from a calf edema, Petar Ankersen is banged up.

Inter: Marcelo Brozovic made the bench in the previous game. Matias Vecino is close to coming back from knee soreness, while Stefano Sensi needs more time. Milan Skriniar is disqualified. Victor Moses is out due to muscle fatigue.

Juventus: Giorgio Chiellini remains questionable, Mattia De Sciglio (thigh) and Alex Sandro (knee) are on the shelf.

Lazio: Ciro Immobile and Felipe Caicedo are suspended. Lucas Leiva (knee) is on track to return, while Luiz Felipe (calf) and Adam Marusic (thigh) will miss at least the next two games.

Lecce: Zan Majer (thigh), Alessandro Deiola (knee) and even Cristiano Dell’Orco (groin) have gone into full training and could be back soon, although they have already been ruled out for the upcoming game. Luca Rossettini and Biagio Meccariello are on the mend with undisclosed injuries.

Milan: Samu Castillejo suffered a low degree biceps femoris strain and will be re-evaluated next week. Theo Hernandez picked up a knock on the tibia. Nicolò Zaniolo worked his back into the squad list after an ACL tear.

Napoli: David Ospina subbed off after a blow to the head versus Atalanta but has avoided serious complications and will just have to rest for few days. Allan is questionable with muscle fatigue.

Parma: Hernani is suspended.

Roma: Diego Perotti was sent off in the last game. Gianluca Mancini missed it with a stomach bug but should be able to recover. Pau Lopez continues nursing a wrist injury.

Sampdoria: Morten Thorsby is out due to yellow-card accumulation. Fabio Quagliarella (calf) and Karol Linetty (foot) were able to train fully and so they are poised to be back, while Lorenzo Tonelli (knee) is out for a little longer. Gonzalo Maroni hurt his knee in practice. Ronaldo Vieira is out due to a sore patellar tendon.

Sassuolo: Rogerio is suspended, Jeremy Toljan is back from hip soreness, Giangiacomo Magnani from a minor thing. Pedro Obiang picked up a thigh strain.

SPAL: Mo Fares and Mattia Valoti were diagnosed with thigh pulls and will be sidelined for 10/15 days. Kevin Bonifazi, Arkadiusz Reca and Ervin Zukanovic are questionable due to minor injuries but they will probably be in the squad list. Marco D’Alessandro was red-carded.

Torino: Simone Zaza (thigh) made the squad list in the past round and so he is good to go.

Udinese: Kevin Lasagna subbed off at half-time against Roma due to a sore calf and will undergo some tests.

Verona: Fabio Borini returned against Parma, while Matteo Pessina is suspended. Few game-day updates for the Scaligeri as Sofyan Amrabat and Claud Adjapong are out with muscle fatigue, Pawel Dawidowicz with a pec injury that already costed him time in June.
