Top Five Fantasy Football Strikers – La Liga – Round 20

Suarez
Our La Liga striker list is dominated by the usual suspects from Barcelona and Real Madrid at the top end, but none of them comes cheap. In the standout fixture this game week, Real Sociedad visit Real Madrid on Sunday night.

Let’s take a look at our top five striker tips for the La Liga game week 20.

1. Luis Suarez (Barcelona)

The Catalan club are surely playing a catch-up game in the La Liga, but that hasn’t stopped the Uruguayan from claiming the top stop in our list. The 30-year-old, along with his teammate Lionel Messi, is the current top scorer in La Liga with 15 goals. He has also provided five assists and has accumulated 66 points. However, he doesn’t come cheap at 18m and has a P/P ratio of 3.9.

2. Lionel Messi (Barcelona)

The Argentinian is not far behind at 63 points. As stated above, he has scored 15 league goals this season. However, his assists tally shows only three assists in his account. Unsurprisingly, he is the joint-costliest player in our league at 22m. His P/P ratio reads quite an average value of 3. However, we are backing him to score a goal or two against Real Betis on Sunday.

3. Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)

The Real Madrid man is quite far behind the leading pack at 51 points. He is also the most expensive player in the league at 22m. The Portugal man has scored 12 goals and provided two assists in 14 appearances. The 31-year-old has struggled with his form in the first half of the season, but his best is yet to come this season. He has a P/P ratio of 2.5.

4. Iago Aspas (Celta Vigo)

The Celta Vigo striker is one of the two cheap options available on our list. The former Liverpool flop has put together 44 points this season, and he costs just 4.5m in the market. He has scored 11 goals and provided three assists in 18 appearances this season. Celta travel to lowly Leganes this weekend, and we think Aspas is worth taking a punt this weekend. His P/P ratio reads an impressive figure of 10.2.

5. Wissam Ben Yedder (Sevilla)

If you are looking for someone, even more, cheaper, then Ben Yedder is your man. The summer-signing from Toulouse is enjoying quite a successful debut season in Spain and has scored eight goals and provided two assists in 15 appearances. That’s quite an impressive return for someone who is available for 2m in the market. He has 38 fantasy points in total and an even more impressive P/P ratio of 22.
