Serie A Injury and Suspension Report – Round 29

Atalanta: Ruslan Malinovskyi is suspended for yellow-card accumulation. Josip Ilicic is not 100 percent after an ankle sprain but he is at his coach’s disposal. José Palomino is out with a thigh injury. 

Bologna: Federico Santander and Andreas Skov Olsen remain out with thigh strains. Andrea Poli will miss up to ten days with a thigh pull. 

Brescia: Andrea Cistana (lower leg) and Jhon Chancellor (thigh) will be back in mid-July at the earliest, Dimitri Bisoli (patellar tendon) is out until December.

Cagliari: Radja Nainggolan returned from a calf problem in the last game. Gaston Pereiro and Ragnar Klavan (muscle fatigue) and Christian Oliva (ankle sprain) are out again for this one. Fabio Pisacane (ribs) and Paolo Faragò (groin) have recovered quickly from problems that were supposed to be long-term.

Fiorentina: Dusan Vlahovic has been hit with a two-game suspension, while Martin Caceres will finish serving his one.

Genoa: Domenico Criscito is out with an edema in his calf, Iago Falque is iffy with a muscular issue.

Inter: Milan Skriniar is banned for two more games, Tommaso Berni was sent off from the bench in the last one. Marcelo Brozovic will be the first one to recover, but he has yet to go into full training, but he might be called up at the last moment. Matias Vecino (knee) and Stefano Sensi (thigh) will be out for a little longer.

Juventus: Rodrigo Bentancur cramped up versus Lecce but it looks like it was nothing more than that. Giorgio Chiellini is having troubles coming back from a muscular hiccup. Mattia De Sciglio (thigh) and Alex Sandro (knee) remain on the shelf.

Lazio: Lucas Leiva (knee soreness) and Luiz Felipe (calf strain) probably will not be ready. Danilo Cataldi was called up but then ruled out for the Fiorentina game because of knee/ankle sprain. Joaquin Correa, Stefan Radu and Adam Marusic appeared despite being banged up, so they are available even if not fully healthy.

Lecce: Fabio Lucioni is suspended. They will have back Diego Farias from a thigh issue, but not Zan Majer (thigh), Gianluca Lapdula (ankle sprain) and Alessandro Deiola (knee soreness).

Milan: Zlatan Ibrahimovic (calf) practiced fully in the lead-up to the Roma clash and, barring a setback, he should at least be called up for this one. Leo Duarte picked up a new thigh strain and will be re-evaluated next week.

Napoli: Allan missed the prior game with muscle fatigue and is questionable. Kevin Malcuit is finishing up his rehab from an ACL tear.

Parma: Juraj Kucka is suspended. No absentees besides the usual Roberto Inglese (groin).

Roma: Lorenzo Pellegrini and Jordan Veretout are out due to yellow-card accumulation. Pau Lopez is getting closer after a wrist micro-fracture but it is uncertain that he will be back here. Gianluca Mancini is out with a stomach bug. 

Sampdoria: Fabio Quagliarella is having a tough time shaking a calf pull for at least a short appearance. Lorenzo Tonelli suffered a knee contusion and will miss a couple of weeks. Karol Linetty has been ruled out with a bruised foot. 

Sassuolo: Jeremy Toljan will probably miss another game due to a sore hip muscle. Pedro Obiang will miss time with a thigh strain. 

SPAL: Felipe is suspended. Ervin Zukanovic is nursing a sore ankle, Federico Di Francesco (thigh) and Etrit Berisha (hand) will not return. Arkadiusz Reca has been ruled out. 

Torino: Simone Zaza was a late scratch but avoided a thigh strain, but he recuperated quickly. Alex Berenguer might not start due to a knock. 

Udinese: Sebastian Prodl and Rolando Mandragora are sidelined with major knee injuries.

Verona: Marash Kumbulla is disqualified. Fabio Borini is trying to shake off some muscle fatigue in the right thigh, Eddie Salcedo and Matteo Lovato were out in the last contest because of the same issue. Valentin Eysseric (thigh) and Valentin Eysseric are out for the medium-term.
