Lecce 1-4 AC Milan: Tops and flops for the Rossoneri – Calhanoglu pulling the strings

AC Milan managed to claim all three points from the clash against Lecce last night, putting four goals past their former goalkeeper Gabriel. Although there were some struggles, it was important for the Rossoneri to start the resumption with a win, given how important the season finale will be. 

Stefano Pioli will be delighted with the performance as Milan’s main struggle this season has been the scoring and even without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, they managed to rise to the occasion. Serie A Round 20 Fantacalcio Player Trends: Stock Up

We have officially made our way past the halfway point of the 2019/20 Serie A season, and the table is certainly beginning to tell us a lot about who are the contenders and who are the pretenders.

Last week, AC Milan picked up their first win of 2020 with a 2-0 result over Cagliari. Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Rafael Leão provided the goals for the Rossoneri who produced one of their best collective efforts to date. Meanwhile, Lazio squeaked out their 10th straight league win thanks to Ciro Immobile’s 20th on the campaign, while Inter and Atalanta played to an action-packed 1-1 draw at San Siro.

Injuries to Merih Demiral and Nicolo Zaniolo marred what was an exciting finale on Sunday between Juventus and Roma, the former of which held on 2-1.

Serie A Round 13 Fantacalcio Player Trends: Stock Up

Another international break came and went. Italy made it a perfect 10 wins from 10 matches in 2020 UEFA Euro qualifying with a battering of Armenia 9-1 to put a bow on their campaign, while Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey scored a brace to ensure Wales’ spot next summer in a 2-0 win against Hungary.

As mentioned, the signing of the left-back was announced on Saturday, even though the deal had been done for a while now. Contrary to previous reports, though, Hernandez has joined Milan on a permanent basis for a reported fee of €20m. In a statement on their website, the Rossoneri confirmed the signing. Continue reading
