An easy call for club of the week this time around, as Napoli quickly disposed of Frosinone on Saturday. As he often does, Carlo Ancelotti looked ahead, at the decisive Champions League clash with Liverpool coming on Tuesday, and spared some of his best men: Raul Albiol, José Callejon, Fabian Ruiz and Dries Mertens. Sebastiano Luperto, Adam Ounas and Arkadiusz Milikdrew the start.

Napoli have completed the first move of what promises to be a pretty busy summer: after courting him in January, they have announced on Monday the acquisition of Simone Verdi from Bologna. They have reportedly paid a reasonable €25M fee to have him and the player signed a five-year contract.
After few mixed seasons coming off the youth season, Verdi started to showcase his talent in 2013-2014 at Empoli, with Maurizio Sarri at the helm, in Serie B. Owned by Milan, his growth stalled a little between the second year with the Azzurri and few months at Eibar, but then he started to demonstrate he belonged in Serie A in some limited appearances with Carpi, where he scored three times in eight games.
