Gianluigi Donnarumma: while Milan’s attack has been languishing lately, their back-line has been pretty robust, allowing just one goal in the last four fixtures, and the young stud contributed to that with some excellent saves. They will host SPAL, which have failed to find the target in the last three matches.
Raul Albiol: on paper, a great match-up for the Napoli’s defence, since Bologna have not hit the net in the previous three contests and did it just six times so far on the road. He will have to lead the department due to the suspension of Kalidou Koulibaly. He scored in the last home game. Continue reading →

Inter-Udinese: the Nerazzurri will be looking to bounce back after a heartbreaking elimination from Champions League, where they fumbled away a great opportunity, and the tough loss against Juventus, where they squandered their chances. The Zebrette were handed their first loss under Davide Nicola by Atalanta last week. Few top players flopped again in this round, here’s the list of the best performers from the last weekend.
Samir Handanovic(7 points): few teams managed to keep a clean sheet in this round, Fiorentina even did it with two different goalies. The Inter veteran had the best save of the week on a point-blank header by Filip Helander that would have changed the course of the game. He certainly needed that after the gaffe against Torino.
Nicolas Nkoulou(9 points): Torino-SPAL seemingly lasted forever after being stopped for heavy raining. When it resumed, it was solved by a thumping header on a corner kick by the Cameroonian, who, as always, was very reliable in the back as well. Continue reading →
